So I learned from Rita that the I shouldn't have put salt in the batter too soon because it would kill the yeast. I used the same recipe today, only that I did not put any salt in the batter. I also let the dry yeast dissolve in the warm water and milk mixture before I put in the flour. The bread dough came to a rise, doubling its size like the way it should be. Thanks to Rita and Cherry for their great tips!
The only problem is, I have already eaten 2 of these rolls... they are so delicious!
